07/18/2003: "Irish Whiskey"

Do you like Irish Whiskey? I was introduced to a new label recently. It's very good and sells for a reasonable price. Powers Gold Label, from John Power & Son, established 1791, in Dublin. Click more.. below.

This wiskey sells for $17.00 per 750 ml (80 proof) at Armanetti's in Chicago. According to the label it is matured in oak casks and triple distilled and is a "Whiskey with a distinctive Pot Still Character". It is imported by Austin Nichols and Co. New York, NY. This stuff does it for me.

I bought some to try and then went back the next day and bought the last two bottles they had in stock.
