01/03/2004: "Spooky Spam"

This is a new one on me:

"One of the world's great secrets has always been lie detectors. You hear of the police using them, but very few of us have ever seen one, and fewer still have owned one. Where would you buy such a device, and how would you learn to use it?" Click more.. below.

"The Israeli Mossad Security Service developed a top-secret new technology to interrogate suspected terrorists in the field. This technology is called Truster, a portable hand-held lie detector that fits right in your pocket. After a bombing, the Mossad would disperse through the crowd and ask bystanders if they knew anything about the attack. Measuring the level of stress in the subject's voice, Truster would immediately detect a lie, and the offender would be detained for questioning."

"The US National Security Agency and CIA purchased this same technology from the Israeli Army in 1999. US Government agents have been using it ever since in the war on terror. Detainees at Guantanamo Bay are even now being interrogated with Truster-like devices."

"For the last five years the world's intelligence services kept Truster technology shrouded in secrecy; so secret, in fact, that a federal judge in Virginia issued a gag order on all references to Truster technology during an ongoing trial of a suspected Al-Quaida militant."

"If Truster is so secret, you might be wondering, then how can I sell it?"

It goes on and on, but at least it's a change of pace from penis enlargement and Viagra. What kind of an idiot wants their own lie detector? I don't know, but I think it's exceptional spam simply because it wouldn't offend a typical little old lady if it showed up in her e-mail inbox. I think there is a lot wrong with that. Why don't we grow up a little?

Say, Saturday is skin rotation day! Don't miss the new "This Week's Skin." The link is located on your right. Little old ladies need not click. See how easy that is?
