In today's politically correct media world, the old Warner Brothers Bugs and Daffy cartoons are a breath of fresh air. The anything but PC Bugs sets up Daffy in "This Week's Fantasy" for the bloodthirsty Elmer Fudd. Link opens in a new window. Elmer has no problem shooting a duck who can talk to him. He just has never before thought of a duck as having a mother.
